Third aware siripa🍁🙏 ep 03
We walked forward through heavy fog and wind. More flowers have been planted along the road than there were last month. Yellow flowers bloomed like a carpet across the road. We collected Tolobo, Maharatmal, Binara and many other unnamed flowers to offer to Sri Pada. The wind blows so fast that it blows us away. Facing the wind, it is extremely difficult to move forward. But we reached the top of Sri Pada in a short time of about an hour.
The doors to the Udamaluwa were closed. On both previous occasions we worshiped from those gates. At that time it was Murthy Aiya who was guarding the Sri Pada. As usual, we worshiped Sri Pada from near the gates and went to Murthy Aiya's room to say goodbye.
He looked at us with a kind smile and asked, "Where are the houses, brothers?". We came from Gallella ... I replied. Should the brothers open the Udamaluwa ..... he asked. We were amazed and delighted.
He opened the Udamaluwa for us.
We stayed in the Udamaluwa for about half an hour. Then we came down again. Then Murthy Aiya asked, "Brother, do you have a coffee?".
He treated us to coffee. Brother Murthy is a very humble and kind man ... We said goodbye to him and came back to our accommodation.
Then we packed our bags ... we had two liters of kerosene, a bag of sugar and a packet of biscuits left. The meditative monks used a kerosene stove for cooking. So we offered the oil to the monks, thinking that the oil would be useful to the monks." You guys are good boys . You made a big pilgrimage by worshiping at Sri Pada. You guys, that's why you make mistakes ...... make a few mistakes and do more good things if you can." That is what they told us when we said goodbye to the monks.
