As darkness fell we reached Haramithipana. We have to go up another 2000 steps to our accommodation.  We will not be able to get there before nightfall.  But we moved on. 

 After a while the night dawned.  

Wildlife is active at night. Fortunately, elephants do not roam the area where we should go.   But we can be harmed by leopards, wild boars and snakes.  We lit the torches. Wild animals move away when they hear human voices.  So we went on singing and singing. Due to the thick fog our torches are not clearly visible ahead.  We arrived at the lodge without any accident .  

We were amazed by the flashlight light coming towards us from our accommodation.  Someone else is in the shed.  When we looked, we saw two monks standing in the forest and meditating in the shed.  We bowed to them.  Our accommodation in the hut was a nuisance to the monks so we set up camp in the other hut near us.  Then we ate our food and lit a fire in the shed. Then we came into the tent and slept. 

I woke up in the morning.  But the others are still asleep. By that time the Thero had woken up. Together with Nimesh we made coffee and offered it to the monks.  Later Lahiru and Tharidhu were also awakened. I inquired about the breakfast from the monks and then accepted the morning alms.  Then we ate too.

 We ate and started climbing the Sri Pada mountain.  I will stop here because the article is long.  Stay tuned for the final part soon.
