๐ŸNature Pool๐Ÿ

                          ๐ŸNature Pool๐Ÿ

Dehenakanda Natural Pool is located in the Hapugastenna Tea Estate bordering the Sri Pada Forest. This pool was created by the Hapugastenna Plantation Company by building a dam across a stream flowing through the forest. It is about 2km away from Dehenakanda village. "Journey of Gemcity" We visit to Dehenakanda Nature Pool this time
As usual we started our journey from Gallella on motorbikes. It was a rainy day. The only way to get to the pool is through a muddy road.
We came to the pool through the thick fog. Another group was there when we arrived. We played in the water in the pouring rain.
When we came out of the water, the others who were present gave us a kithul toddy treat. We don't drink alcohol ... so we took only two toddy coconut shells and tasted them.
We had to go home before the rain so we left after that. After a while it rained and we were in a shed near a tea plantation. From the shed we sang to Ashan Ayya's bongo playing.
There is no decrease in rain. So we headed home in the rain.  That too was a good experience.
