Dehenakanda is on of the most beautiful and cool village in rathnapura district.  This village is located on the border of the Sri Pada rain forest. It is located 800 m above sea level Beautiful waterfalls, rivers and tea estates can be seen around the area. The Samanala Range on one side and the Sabaragamuwa Range on the other create a beautiful view to this village.  This area is covered with fog for most of the day. From here there are beautiful and difficult footpath to Sri Pada.                                                                Tourists come here to see the surrounding waterfalls and beautiful landscapes.                 Third aware siripa🍁🙏 ep 02  As darkness fell we reached Haramithipana. We have to go up another 2000 steps to our accommodation.  We will not be able to get there before nightfall.  But we moved on.   After a while the night dawned.   Wildlife is active at night. Fortunately, elephants do not roam the area where we should go.   But we can be harmed by leopards, wild boars and snakes.  We lit the torches. Wild animals move away when they hear human voices.  So we went on singing and singing.
